The evidence of my past shows me that prayer is the battle, and the battle belongs to the LORD. This helps me resist temptation(s) to go beyond my purview into the choices being made by others. Mine is to pray for Mercy and Compassion to replace infuriation (is there such a word?) and/or exasperation in various cancerous forms. Remembering my days with a hardened, haughty heart, I surrender those who are now like I was until He came and got me. Sitting today in my prayer chair, I give my concerns for God to handle. It is how I understand the meaning of the verb “forgive.” Chime in if you care to share!
