I identify with the mouse in this picture because I know how daunting it was trying to hide from God. It took years for me to see, and then to finally admit, how many of my choices had been mistakes (not because I intended to do wrong; simply because I was mistaken).
Correction did not happen overnight, but only after I’d been beaten up enough by doing things my way. I ended up groaning all day long, like the psalmist in Psalm 32:3-5 and was gently coaxed like this little mouse from the darkness into His wonderful Light.
