Once a week, I share “Snippets That Inspire” and invite others to do the same. Today’s post is another quote from “Boys in the Trees” by Carly Simon who wrote:
“Fame is manic and terrifying, especially when your identity and status become gradually and exclusively dependent on others’ opinions, jealousies, and rivalries.”
This photo captures how I felt when I realized what a gift it is for me not to be famous. I have a different hairstyle now, but so what? I am still this grateful and glad, maybe more so! Chime in to share your own favorite excerpts and/or quotes.
