This morning, I am encouraged to leap in faith “like a gazelle from the hand of the hunter.” And so, I do, exuberantly chasing God’s forgiveness because, apparently, I have not finished facing the grief that has accumulated over the course of my lifetime.
I had thought I already processed all this, but not. Sadness remains in my heart — and many regrets. So I find edification and strength in Proverbs 6 this morning that assures me I need not remain ensnared by the words of my own mouth. “Go and humble yourself, and plead with your Friend,” it says. And so, I do. What about you?
