Oswald Chambers says that “justice” means rightness with God; that nothing is “just” until it is adjusted to God. Proverbs says that God Himself guards the path of justice and preserves the way of His saints. I know, I know:
1. We don’t like masculine pronouns, and it is true that God is both male and female. But, because Jesus called Him Father, so do I.
2. Who am I to consider myself a saint? I do, however reluctantly, because that’s what God calls those who have been “adjusted” and made right with Him. His people are called “saints” in both the Old Testament and the New.
I am grateful to be one of God’s Own. It required an attitude adjustment, that’s for sure. But this wonderful photograph captures it all for me. I completely identify with these baby chicks. All they do is come under those sheltering wings! Does this photo resonate with you as it does with me? Chime in if you care to share!
