Wondering-Ness?

Apparently, I am not the only one who enjoys inventing words. Today, I encountered Oswald Chambers coining a word to describe people who walk with God. He says they always seem to have a childlike “wondering-ness.” It’s his word for the enthusiastic heart in contrast to the heart that seems always to be sighing.

Chambers says that, when God imparts the Holy Spirit, He is putting vision and enthusiasm into you. Soon, we find ourselves thrilling to understand at last His Word, to soar above the broken things of earth and, when we come back down into the midst of it all, to run without being weary.

What think you about this interesting word? Chime in if YOU wonder as YOU wander. The Question Corner is a safe place to share! FYI, this photo was posted on Twitter by Land of Cuteness @landpsychology.
