In the morning, O Lord, You hear my voice; in the morning, I lay my requests before You and wait in expectation (Psalm 5:3). This Scripture speaks to me now, and I pray it remembering the evidence of my past: my Gratitude List, my own personal Exodus, my own Red Sea; my personal manna from heaven (and quail(!), my own crossing the Jordan into the Promised Land. I am thankful for Your breakthroughs,God, Your proofs to me that I can’t, but You can, and that all I need to do is let You. In my daily Step Eleven, I hear You saying, “This is the Way — walk in it.” And so I am, and I do, and I will, following You, one step at a time, carrying Your message to others as You allow. Your message is always so simple: “Come to Me” and so utterly sweet: “All ye who are weary and heavy-laden…”
